Valley Farm Shop Valley Farm's large, open-plan shop is a destination shop that offers a wide range of high quality products for cats and dogs. We always try to keep something new and different. To add to our items in stock we have a number of specialist items that can be ordered on request. All our reception/shop staff undergo basic nutrition training as well as product training so that they can advise you on your purchases. Some of our staff have a special interest in dog behaviour and can help with products and suggestions to solve your dog’s unsociable problems. All our advice can be backed up by veterinary expertise, with doctors available for consultations. Our shop is fully staffed during our consulting hours and open until 10pm daily. All these foods have the benefit of many of years of research that go into their formulation. This ensures that the foods are balanced in calories, meaning that if a pet is fed the right amount to maintain a healthy weight (or growth in puppies and kittens) it will receive all the other nutrients in exactly the right amount for good health. The ingredients in these foods are of a very high quality with very many quality control checks carried out before and during production. More checks are done on some of these foods than are done on most human foods! Most of the ranges include foods for each stage of development, i.e. Puppy, Adult and Senior pet. Ask our staff to find out which food you should be feeding and why. Many of the ranges have special foods for pets with mild conditions. We even have a range of Prescription foods that are sold by the doctors for specific medical conditions. We all know that people with heart problems should cut down on salt, or over-weight people should eat less fat. It is the same for pets with medical conditions and many can be managed or eased with the correct diet. We stock many ranges of pet toys, some just fun and some that help with dental care or give your pet a challenge to keep it busy when you are not there. Every pet needs a bed, a place of its own. With our huge range of sizes, style and price you should get just the right one. We have blankets, some of which can be embroidered with a picture of your pet’s breed and the pet’s name. We have treats and bowls, collars and leads, bark control collars and invisible fencing, grooming brushes and combs, carry boxes and thunder shirts! In fact anything you may need for your dog and cat can be found in our shop.
