Making an appointment
We know that everyone has busy lives so we have extended consulting hours, always with at least two vets on duty at any one time to keep waiting time to a minimum.
Appointments for consultation and vaccinations can be booked Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:45. On weekends and public holidays we work on a first come, first served basis.
It is always best to book an appointment so you get to see the doctor you would like to, and you are seen without having to wait. Walk-in clients will be assisted as soon as possible.
It is essential to book consultations for more specialised services such as acupuncture, behavioural issues, physiotherapy, pregnancy scans, and export examinations and documentation. Your appointment will be directed to the correct staff member for assistance.
Referrals for complex cases
Dr Salome Nagel takes referrals for complex medical cases, and it is necessary for you or your veterinarian to schedule an appointment. More info:
Vaccinations and general consultations
Vaccinations and general health consultations can be booked with any of our veterinarians.
At Valley Farm Animal Hospital we are passionate about preventive health and keeping our patients in tip top condition. Regular vaccinations are an important part of this. These vaccinations protect against life-threatening diseases. Annual visits to the vet for the vaccinations also allow us to give your pet a full health check and examination. Regular checks allow us to catch diseases in their early stages and start treatment.
Puppies and kittens need a course of four vaccinations to ensure full cover, and adults will need an annual vaccination to maintain their immunity.
