South African Guide Dogs Association
The GDA are dedicated to breeding and training dogs to become highly skilled companions to South Africans that are visually impaired or suffer physical disabilities.
The process from pup to qualified and trusted support or service dog costs thousands of rands and takes up to two years.
These dogs give their owners freedom, safety, independence and sense of companionship and inclusion, quite often they are live savers.
